Wilmot Union High School will be hosting its 13th annual Veterans Day Observance, on Monday, Nov. 11, and invited all area veterans and their families to attend.
There will be a breakfast and fellowship at 7:45 a.m. in the Commons. An assembly will be held at 9 a.m. in the Field House to observe Veterans Day and to thank you personally for your service to our country.
Veterans are welcome to bring your family to this event. If you are a veteran and have a student, family member, neighbor, or friend who attends WUHS and you would like them to escort you into the assembly, notify school officials when you RSVP or when you arrive.
The students and staff at Wilmot Union High School are proud of their tradition of honoring community veterans. In addition to the assembly on the Nov. 11, WUHS also invites the community to to gather in the Lance Haas Auditorium for a showing of “Honor Flight” on Friday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m. The show is free – any donations will go toward the Honor Flight program.
