Senior dining menu for May 1 to May 9

Senior Dining is administered by Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services, Inc., and meals are held at the American Legion, 989 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes.

      Call Diana at (262) 877-3503 to make a reservation. Reservations must be made by 10:30 a.m., at least 24 hours, one business day in advance. The dining center is closed on weekends, so Monday cancellations must be called in by the Friday before.   

 

Thursday, May 1

      Tuna salad Supreme with mixed salad greens, American potato salad, multi-grain bread, cookie, chilled peaches

Friday, May 2

      Chicken cacciatore, potatoes O’Brien, Oregon bean medley, bran muffin bread, banana, Romaine salad

Monday, May 5

      Kielbasa, scalloped potatoes, California blend vegetables, rye bread, chunky applesauce, vegetable vinaigrette

Tuesday, May 6

      Italian beef and Swiss on a roll or chicken Waldorf salad, lettuce and tomato garnish, chef’s choice salad, pineapple tidbits, split pea soup

Wednesday, May 7

      Cheesy Denver eggs, diced hashbrowns, banana bread, hot fruit bake with oatmeal crumble, chilled peaches

Thursday, May 8

      Ground beef stroganoff, whole wheat pasta, peas and carrots, honey wheat swirl bread, whole orange, Mediterranean vegetable soup

Friday, May 9

      Potato crusted fish filet, au Gratin potatoes, fresh melon, whole wheat bread, lemon pudding, coleslaw
