Silver Lake Schultz-Hahn American Legion Post No. 293 will host its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26.
The parade will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Riverview School and will head east to Cogswell Drive, then go south to 1st Street. From 1st Street it will go to Lake Street, then west on Lake Street to Second Street and then north Second Street and then east again on Northwater Street, concluding at the American Legion Hall parking lot. Anyone interested in participating in the parade is welcome and should be at Riverview School by 8:15 a.m. on Monday morning.
A ceremony honoring veterans will immediately follow the parade in the parking lot of the Legion Hall on Cogswell Drive. Free refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
