Midwest Dental to host Mouthguard Clinic in Salem

Midwest Dental in Salem will be hosting a mouthguard clinic for local junior high and high school athletes June 23, 24 and 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. each day. No appointment is necessary. Custom-built mouthguards will be offered for a discounted $10 fee, and all fees will be donated back to the Central High School athletic department.

“Mouthguards can help prevent fractured, loose or knocked out teeth,” said Dr. Dwight Simmons of Midwest Dental. “I highly recommend a mouthguard for all athletes who could damage their teeth while playing sports.”

A mouthguard may be one of the least expensive pieces of sports equipment available, and it will do double duty to help protect teeth and the jaw as well. Dentists can make custom mouthguards, which provide the best fit and can be customized to meet individual needs.

Midwest Dental, is located at 25260 75th Street, Salem, in Village Plaza near Sentry Foods.

All athletes are welcome. You do not need to be a current patient.

This is a walk in event; no advanced appointment necessary. For more information, please contact the office directly at (262) 843-1808.
