The Genoa City Lions Club recently donated $500 to the Bloomfield Police Department for their Kid’s Day Out Program to be held on Aug. 23, at the Bloomfield Town Hall in Pell Lake. Police Chief Cole (left) accepts the donation from Lion Gary Grolle, Club President (2014-2015). The donation will help offset the cost of the event, which will include identification cards for children, games, prizes, and a demonstration by police officers. The dunk tank features the police officers on rotation! There is a punch card system of games and activities, a children’s bounce house, and raffle prizes. Open to the public.
