McHenry County College will host “The History of Barn Quilts and Demo” from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10 in Room E129 at the college. The college is located at 8900 U.S. Hwy. 14 in Crystal Lake.
The seminar will feature the history behind barn quilts and how they are being used in McHenry County. A demonstration on how to make your own barn quilt will also be included.
