Cindi Ernest, Salem town clerk, builds a papier-mâché pumpkin for Salem Pumpkin Daze. When complete, the pumpkin will be painted and carved and ready for pictures with children who visit the event. Pumpkin Daze is set for Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Salem Highway/fire building, located on Highway C, 11252 254th Ct. in Trevor.
