Authorities set May 11 Wheatland Town Hall meeting on sex offenders

Authorities have called a 6 p.m. May 11 Wheatland Town Hall Meeting regarding the release of two registered sex offenders into the area for Wednesday, May 11 at the Wheatland Town Hall, 34315 Geneva Rd., New Munster.

Officials from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services and Wheatland’s Town Constable are expected to discuss the release of both, according to a Sheriff’s Department press release.

The meeting that is open to the general public and members from the three agencies are available to answer questions or concerns.

No additional information has been released.
