Westosha Cheer sets clinic for Sept. 18

WestoshaCentral-webWestosha Central High School’s back-to-back state champion cheerleading squad is holding a Kiddie Clinic on Sunday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the school, 24617 75th St.

The fifth annual event for K-8 children affords them an opportunity to learn fundamental cheerleading skills, including jumps, motions, sideline cheer, among other aspects with an added perk – performing at halftime of a Falcons football game.

Cost of the clinic is $35 and includes lunch and snacks.

Proceeds from the team’s largest fundraiser of the year benefit the school’s cheer programs.

Upon completion, all participants receive an invite to the Sept. 23 game between Westosha Central and visiting Waterford, helping the cheer squad on the sidelines along with a halftime performance.
